THE NEW ERASMUS +KA122 PROJECT "ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY FOR SUSTAINABLE SCHOOLS (ES4SS) HAS ALREADY STARTED!!!

On the 1st December, 2021 the fourth “Erasmus+” program  project "ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY FOR SUSTAINABLE SCHOOLS" (ES4SS)  started to be implemented in our gymnasium. The project will be financed by the funds of the European Union, will last for 1.5 year and four countries will participate in it: Spain, Italy, Turkey and Lithuania. One of the main goals of the project is closely related to the main gymnasium’s goal i.e. to develop a mature personality with essential knowledge, abilities and values ​​of ecology and environmental technologies, who is able to  choose independently appropriate behavioral strategies. Therefore, the main goal of this project is to raise students' awareness on the topic of sustainability, to encourage them to  choose appropriate behavior strategies, to predict the effects of their activities on the environment and to act actively in order to preserve the our palnet Earth. In December students were selected for the project and successfully started to participate in different activities.

Throughout the entire project, students will not only perform various tasks related to the project topic, participate in workshops, communicate online with their peers from partner countries but will also have the opportunity to visit other countries, get to know their culture, customs, traditions and make new friends.
